Cuomo the Calculating

Its fascinating, in a sense, to behold Prince Andrew Cuomo in all his imperious humbug now that he has achieved unrestrained sway in "his" state and can use it to make the final ascent to his assured destiny as savior of mankind. I thought he had given up on the Presidency but someone high in state government who knows told me he IS running. He simply doesn't understand, does he, in his unconquerable insularity, how pompous and ridiculous he looks to the real America and how much scorn and discredit he reflects on our state and pity for we who must endure him.  Apparently he needs to be shown and if he gets the nomination of his increasingly lala party he will be, oh yes, when he tries out his hilariously pontifical "oratory" in fly over country.

His fevered  determination to force his perfection on an America hopeless without his transcendent revelation (think I'm exaggerating? - ever hear him make a speech? - you'd think Moses had descended from Mt. Sinai)  is on full display in New York now and we in NY who insolently oppose him are given to understand that we are subjects now, not citizens. Having acquired the obsequious, rubber stamp legislature he has always craved (now he can dispense with all that bothersome "democracy", dontcha know, from that "vocal minahritty" upstate) he  has already imposed on New York taxpayers obligations anew, in extending the educational rights of citizens to those who entered the U.S. illegally but are sure fire Democrat votes after he gives them their "right" to vote .He has blithely and with horrid celebration condemned thousands of fetuses, some of  whom breathe now, to denial of life itself (oh well, they are just tissue, yes? you know, like your tonsils . . .) and has fired his opening salvo in his  final push to disarm the lawful in New York State (except of course for his body guard).

That's where the "calculation" comes in( even a semi Deity like him must perforce take pause now and again) ; he  fully intends to present NY gun owners with regulation as onerously burdensome as to amount to the denial of their 2nd Amendment rights and their complete discouragement. But he can't do it all at once: he has actually to be approved by the American  electorate(at least the first time) before he mounts on high and that is going to necessitate disingenuous gestures meant to convince we "rubes" that he's really not that bad on guns.  Blue collar union America tends to like its guns and he's going to need them on the Democrat plantation. Also, there's that reprehensible but still troublesome newly minted and unforgiveably lawful U.S. Supreme Court, which may cast a gimlet eye on his "laws" (after all Andrew respects as law only that with which he agrees and that rules out U.S. gun and immigration law in his fief - he has openly expressed that conviction). He must needs spread out the inevitable law suits from unwashed gunowners until such time as he can install a compliant leftist  tribunal.

So, his newly announced gun pronunciamentos at first glance aren't quite as offensive as they could have been  -   I mean, there were proposals to search gunowners' online traffic for expressions of political heresy sufficient to mandate summary gun confiscation  and for virtually continuous perusal of gunowner conduct which would have the state police and county clerks working 18 hour days . Stand by - they are on the way, when he thinks them opportune.


The Prince has decreed "today is the next evolution in this ongoing crusade and it will be ongoing".  Gee, gun rights advocates routinely maintain that the "common sense" measures pushed by the gun grabbers are incremental, nickel and dime steps toward eventual confiscation and here is the champion himself confirming it.  Why would Andrew want to take our guns? Because he believes that would destroy one of the pillars of the conservative real America for which he cherishes (and expresses with ever increasing frankness) such withering contempt (just ask conservative New Yorkers about that - he has said he wants us to "git"). He knows gunowners and their formidable NRA support candidates and office holders who loathe his brand of sanctimonious incipient totalitarianism. 

That's what we'll all "git" America, if this definitively  disdainful, snobbish and vicious elitist  is elected President.  He probably can't swing it; there is far too much real common sense at large in our benighted land but its best to recognize and beware the threat he and all his ilk present to  ALL we  work for, fight for, respect, revere, worship and teach our children.  Jack
